A Saint Mary’s University graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce and major in Finance, John combines strong financial expertise with a straightforward, client-first approach. Born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and a long time resident of Halifax, John understands the local market and takes pride in helping individuals, families, and investors make informed mortgage decisions with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, John enjoys staying active, playing sports, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his friends and his spouse, Kimberley, bringing the same energy and dedication to his personal life as he does to his clients.

Luke Jessiman is a Mortgage Associate serving clients across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, known for his communication skills, patient nature, and a strong passion for helping others succeed financially. With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and over 12 years of experience in hospitality and customer service, Luke brings a unique blend of empathy, problem-solving, and professionalism to the world of mortgages.

Since transitioning into the mortgage industry in 2021, Luke has developed a strong reputation for supporting first-time homebuyers, debt consolidation, refinancing, renovation loans, and cash flow improvement strategies. In 2024, he proudly joined the Wheeler Mortgage Team to expand his reach and continue delivering expert advice with a personal touch.

Luke holds a mortgage broker license in both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. His approach is always calm and collected, and he’s driven by the opportunity to turn what can be a stressful process into an empowering experience—especially for those who may have heard “no” elsewhere.

Outside of the office, Luke is an avid runner and marathoner, passionate home cook, golf enthusiast, and loves spending quality time with friends and family.

I'm a proud mother of three grown boys who have all followed in my steps in the banking career. At home, I share my life with my partner Mark and our golden retriever, Bella. In my free time, I love to travel and love being outside.

With years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, including roles at TD, RBC, Edward Jones, and Manulife Bank, Alex thrives on finding creative solutions that remove stress and make the mortgage process seamless. He takes pride in problem-solving, educating clients, and ensuring they feel confident in their financial decisions.

Born into a military family, Alex’s journey has taken him from Ottawa to Newfoundland and even Germany before settling in Nova Scotia, where he now lives in New Minas. A proud Atlantic Canadian, he has earned multiple national sales awards, proving that success extends well beyond Central Canada.

When he is not working, Alex enjoys cycling, gaming, traveling, and keeping up with current events. He loves spending time with his wife Melissa, his high school sweetheart, their daughters Raina and Emmeline, and their two Spanish Water Dogs, Pearl and Lorenzo. He is also a dedicated volleyball dad, cheering on his daughter’s team – Go Wizards!
